Has anyone ever done a guided meditation?
I did a ‘cave meditation’ that was awesome. Have you ever experienced anything similar? (a guided cave meditation is when someone leads you in mediation. You go through a cave, then a forest, with an animal guide, and you find your spirit guide.)

Meditation, guided relaxation, and self hypnosis? Is there really a difference?
Can someone settle this dispute for me? Are they all the same…since all are meant to basically help change your outlook/mental well being? Can meditation and/or guided relaxation be used instead of self hypnosis to break bad habits? Or does self hypnosis teach you something different?

In meditation classes, I’ve had instructors ‘guide’ us by saying things like ‘imagine a warm glow around your feet..slowly moving up your calves..’ etc..are there any cd’s like that?

have one by Dion fortune, however it uses angels and I not in tuned with angels
not in my magic

I use guided meditations. What would i have to do to change to meditation by myself without guiding.?
I have also tried having a focus point and clearing my mind, and when i lost concentration i am able to come back to that focus point, but what are you supposed to think when looking at that focus point?

Where can i learn meditation for free? Any websites that offer free guided meditation?
I am so depressed right now, I need something positive to cheer me up and help me remain compassionate. I want to learn to meditate, I checked with the Buddha learning center today and it cost $60 for a session! I didn’t pay, of course, i want to see if there are any alternatives.
